For those of you who participated in last years ''Highland'' competition, I hope the changes which were made, did enough to invigorate your experience at the ''Highland'' and Pitlochry Golf Club.
The feedback we have had about last year has been very positive indeed. In particular the new seniors competition, the seeding of the scratch match play competition and the open draw on the Tuesday evening.
A major change to this year’s competition will be a change in handicap limits from a maximum of 18 to a new maximum of 24.
Proof of handicap must be presented at pre-competition registration.
Attached to the web site this year, is a competition feedback form. If you would like to provide feedback on last years competition and on future years competitions, please do so and these will be considered by the tournament committee.
On the playing side, the finals were contested by some familiar faces.
Former Scottish Amateur Champion, Glen Campbell from Blairgowrie Golf Club, defeated Mark Rose of Pitlochry Golf Club.
Bill Curran, from Peace Portal Golf Club, Canada, defeated Alan Moore, West Herts in the Handicap.
Andy McGregor, Blairgowrie Golf Club, defeated Alisdair MacArthur Worcester GCC in the finals of the Seniors.
All finals were closely contested.
